Christmas Cards Galore - More Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would squeeze in one or two more posts before Christmas arrives! I was planning on posting these cards spereately, but due to the close time frame of Christmas, I thought I would just share all my creations now. Be prepared for inspiration overload. Here are my finished card projects:

Here is my first card creation. This cute skater girl was cut from the Jolly Holidays Cricut Cartridge. I used my Gypsy to hide her face (using the Hide Contour feature - can also be done on the Cricut CraftRoom), so I could use one of my Peachy Keen Stamps! The accent shape in the background was cut from the Elegant Edges Cartridge, and the snowflakes were cut from a Martha Stewart Punch.

I added some fake snow to her hat (you can pick this up at Michaels). And like my other cards, all the patterned paper is from a Recollections Variety Pack. The ribbon is also from Michaels.

Here is my second card creation. This card is a little bit different than most of my card styles. But the beauty of this card is the ability to be able to mass produce these quickly! The banner stamp at the top of the card is from a Recollections Stamp Set (there is no name).

These beautiful snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart Snowflake stamp set (again, can be picked up at Michaels). I stamped the image using Paper Trey Ink White Ink. If you wanted the image to stand out more, you could always emboss the image.

I hope everyone had a nice spoonful of inspiration!

Christmas Cards Galore - Skater Girl

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday. Making cards is a way for me to relax. Taking time to do things you like is always important. Sit back, relax, and craft! Like I promised, more Christmas inspiration for this final week before Christmas! Here is my completed card project:

Isn't she cute?! This skater girl was cut from the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge. I used my Gypsy and the "hide contour" feature, to hide the cuts for her face - this can also be done on the new Cricut Craftroom. Then, I stamped her face using none other than a Peachy Keen Stamp (the stamp I used was from the Princess Face Assortment Pack).

I added some white "faux" stitching to most of her clothes using a white jelly roll pen. All the patterned paper is from a Recollections paper pad from Michaels.

The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from Super Joys stamp line. You can check her stamps out here. That cute snowflake below the sentiment, was punched out using one of Martha Stewarts punches.

I hope you can draw inspiration from todays project, and incorporate it into one of your creations somehow.

Christmas Cards Galore - Cute Santa Card

Hello Everyone,

Can you believe its almost Christmas already?! It has been a really long time since I have last posted. I have been extremely busy with school over the past month, so it feels good to finally post again. Christmas break this year starts on December 17th, so hopefully I will be able to post lots throughout the holidays.
For this week, I plan on having at least three projects up (including todays), so stick around to see them all!

The card that I am sharing today, is quick to mass produce, so if you are looking for a last minute holiday card, definitely draw inspiration from this one! Here is my card project:

All the images from this card were cut from the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge. This is definitely one of my "go to" cartridges - the layers are fairly simple, and it has images for most holidays! The cute patterned paper is from a paper stack by Recollections (its the one with 180 pages of paper).

Adding some flocking powder to his little pom pom, adds a finishing touch. I also added some glossy accents to his cheeks, but that is hard to make out on this photo.

Using glittered paper to cut layers with the Cricut, adds so much personality, without having to do anything different.

I hope this card has inspired you to make something special today for the holidays.
